Power on: Garmin Vector 3 Battery Life
Garmin Vector 3 battery life probably isn’t top of mind now years after the Garmin Vector 3 pedals were launched and also after Garmin’s new power products were released.
That said, I expect these and other Garmin power pedals to have excellent shelf life and be worth more second hand than for instance the Favero Assioma pedals. The reason is that since you recharge the Garmin Vector 3 by popping in a new pair of batteries, you’ll never have battery capacity reduction. A new charge is always a full charge.
Actually, I wanted to share my observation in a comment on the Garmin Vector 3 review by my favourite endurance sports technology reviewer, but apparently comments get locked – or at least they didn’t load on my machine.
Here are the battery durability findings:
Battery name and Type | Start Date | End Date | Activities | Distance | Time | Load |
Varta CR1/3N | 15-Sep-2022 | 21-Feb-2023 | 107 | 3368 km | 122 hours | 6982 |
This is the first time I’m tracking the Garmin Vector 3 battery life, and my guess is I’ll be back here in about 5 months with another update.
